A compact solar and battery storage package for UK homes starting without an existing suitable solar system.
Wrenstead Solar + Store 2 brings together 960W of solar panel capacity, an 800W microinverter, smart energy management and 2.048kWh of nominal lithium iron phosphate battery storage in one coordinated package.
The system includes an H1600 Smart Solar Hub, two heated L1024HOT battery modules and an LS-800Mi microinverter with its supplied 5-metre AC cable.
It is designed for households that want to begin generating solar electricity, storing available energy and managing energy schedules through a compatible system.
Generate. Store. Schedule.
Wrenstead Solar + Store 2 combines three important parts of home solar energy management.
- Generate: Produce electricity using the included 960W solar panel array.
- Store: Store available energy in two heated LiFePO4 battery modules with a combined nominal capacity of 2.048kWh.
- Schedule: Configure supported charging and energy-delivery periods around your preferred household routine.
The solar array, H1600 Smart Solar Hub, battery modules and microinverter work together within a compatible electrical configuration.
Actual solar generation, available stored energy and energy delivery depend on weather, installation, equipment configuration and operating conditions.
What's Included in Wrenstead Solar + Store 2?
The package is configured around the following main components:
- 960W Solar Panel Array — currently specified as four 240W solar panels, subject to final supplier packing confirmation.
- 1 × LS-800Mi 800W Microinverter — LONGSHEE-branded microinverter for compatible grid-connected solar applications.
- 1 × 5m AC Cable — supplied with the LS-800Mi microinverter.
- 1 × H1600 Smart Solar Hub — neutral, unbranded energy-management controller.
- 2 × L1024HOT Heated LiFePO4 Battery Modules — each providing 1.024kWh of nominal battery storage with low-temperature heating.
Total solar panel capacity: 960W.
Total nominal battery storage capacity: 2.048kWh.
The Smart Solar Hub and heated battery modules are supplied in neutral, unbranded hardware versions. The included LS-800Mi microinverter carries LONGSHEE branding.

Who Is This System For?
Solar + Store 2 is designed for UK households starting without an existing suitable solar system and looking for a compact solar generation and battery storage package.
Unlike Wrenstead Store 1 and Store 2, which are primarily intended for existing compatible solar installations, this package also includes solar panels and a microinverter.
This Package May Suit Households Looking For:
- A compact solar and battery storage starting point
- 960W of solar panel capacity
- 2.048kWh of nominal battery storage
- Battery heating for colder charging conditions
- App-based energy monitoring
- Manual energy scheduling
- Supported AC/grid charging arrangements
- A coordinated set of solar and storage components
Solar Generation, Microinverter, Hub & Battery Storage
960W Solar Generation
Solar + Store 2 includes a solar array with 960W of total rated panel capacity.
The planned configuration uses four 240W solar panels. The final panel model and supply packaging remain subject to supplier confirmation.
Solar panel capacity represents rated generation under specified test conditions and is not a guarantee of continuous real-world electricity production.
Actual generation depends on daylight, season, weather, orientation, shading and installation conditions.
LS-800Mi 800W Microinverter
The package includes one LS-800Mi microinverter, supplied in the LONGSHEE-branded version.
The microinverter converts compatible DC electrical input into AC electricity for a suitable grid-connected installation.
- 800W rated AC output
- 230V / 50Hz nominal AC output
- Dual MPPT design
- IP67 protection rating
- Wi-Fi communication support
- Supplied with a 5-metre AC cable
The included cable and microinverter must be connected according to the applicable installation requirements. The supply of an AC cable does not mean that every UK household connection is automatically suitable for plug-and-play installation.
The microinverter has an 800W rated AC output, even though the package includes 960W of rated solar panel capacity. These figures represent different system ratings.
H1600 Smart Solar Hub
The H1600 Smart Solar Hub manages compatible solar input, battery charging and discharging, and supported energy-delivery functions.
Solar + Store 2 uses the neutral, unbranded H1600 Smart Solar Hub configuration.
The Hub is an energy-management controller, not the battery itself and not a replacement for the included microinverter.
2.048kWh Heated Battery Storage
Two L1024HOT lithium iron phosphate battery modules provide a total of 2.048kWh of nominal battery storage.
Each module includes a low-temperature heating function. The combined system has approximately 190W of heating power when both battery modules require heating simultaneously.

Low-Temperature Battery Heating
Wrenstead Solar + Store 2 includes two heated L1024HOT battery modules designed to support battery charging in colder conditions.
Heating operates when a suitable external charging source is connected and battery temperature falls below the activation threshold.
How Low-Temperature Heating Works
- Below 5°C: Battery heating activates when suitable external charging power is available.
- Below 0°C: The cells are heated before charging begins. Battery charging does not begin below 0°C.
- At or above 0°C: Charging may begin while heating continues, subject to normal charging conditions.
- At approximately 10°C: Heating stops.
Heating Power and Energy Source
Each battery module uses approximately 95W of heating power when active. If both modules require heating simultaneously, the combined heating power is approximately 190W.
Heating uses energy from a suitable connected external charging source, rather than activating independently using stored battery capacity.
Important: The -20°C discharge temperature limit does not mean the battery can be charged at -20°C. Battery charging is permitted from 0°C.
Solar Charging, Grid Charging & App Scheduling
Solar Charging and Grid Charging
The H1600 Smart Solar Hub supports compatible solar charging and AC/grid charging within supported system configurations.
The appropriate AC/grid charging connection depends on the supplied equipment and the property's electrical arrangement.
App Monitoring and Energy Scheduling
The accompanying app allows users to monitor available system information and configure supported energy-management settings.
- Review available solar and battery information
- Monitor system energy flow where supported
- Configure up to 10 time periods per day
- Set different weekday and weekend schedules
- Manage supported charging and energy-delivery settings
Charging schedules are manually configured by the user.
The system does not automatically retrieve or follow live UK electricity tariffs. Users set their own preferred periods according to their electricity plan.
Available functions depend on the connected equipment, firmware and supported configuration.

Compatibility & Installation
Check Your Property Before Ordering
Solar and battery systems must be suitable for the property's electrical configuration, available installation space and intended method of connection.
Before ordering, consider:
- Available space for the solar panels
- Solar panel orientation and potential shading
- Suitable panel mounting arrangements
- Household electrical configuration
- Microinverter and grid-connection requirements
- Battery placement and ventilation
- Required electrical installation work
The supplied LS-800Mi is a grid-connected microinverter and should not be described as an independent off-grid backup power supply.
Solar + Store 2 must not be assumed to provide household backup power during an electricity outage without separately confirmed compatible backup equipment and functionality.
Installation and Connection
Wrenstead Solar + Store 2 is electrical energy equipment and should not be treated as a universal plug-and-play installation for every UK property.
Installation requirements depend on the property, electrical system, mounting arrangement and applicable UK connection requirements.
Appropriate electrical and installation requirements should be confirmed before the system is connected or commissioned.
